1. Who we are

This policy explains how HHDealer.com handles personal data.

It covers this website and the services we provide through it. If you follow a link to another site, that site’s own policy applies.

2. What we collect

• Account and order details — name, email address, and any billing details you give us when you buy.
• Payment data — handled by our payment providers. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and a reference; we do not receive or store your full card number.
• Correspondence — messages you send us and our replies.
• Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referral information where you arrive through an affiliate link.

3. Why we use it

• To take and fulfil your order, deliver data and provide support — because we need to in order to perform our contract with you.
• To keep records for accounting and tax — because the law requires it.
• To run and secure the site, prevent fraud, and credit affiliate referrals — because we have a legitimate interest in doing so.
• To send you updates or offers — only where you have asked for them. Every message includes an unsubscribe link.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep your shopping cart and login working, and to remember an affiliate referral so the right partner is credited. These are necessary for the site to function.

We also use analytics to understand how the site is used — browser and device type, visitor numbers, and which pages are visited. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some parts of the site will not work if you block the necessary ones.

5. Who we share it with

• Payment providers, to take payment.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers who run our systems on our behalf.
• Analytics providers, as described above.
• Authorities or professional advisers where the law requires it, or to prevent or investigate fraud.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

6. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards available to us, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, to keep your data protected to the same standard.

7. How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Account and correspondence data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security and diagnostics. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete data we no longer need to keep;
• restrict or object to how we use it;
• provide it in a portable form, or withdraw consent you previously gave.

9. Personal data inside the hand histories

This section is about the product, not about you as a customer. The hand histories we sell contain the screen names players choose at the table, together with the actions taken in each hand. They do not contain legal names, addresses, payment details or any other account information, and we make no attempt to connect a screen name to a real-world identity.

The hands are played in public: anyone seated at a table, or observing it, sees exactly the same information. The files are supplied in the form the poker client produced them and we do not alter them.

A screen name is nonetheless a persistent identifier for one person. Data of this kind is usually treated as pseudonymous rather than anonymous, and data-protection law can still apply to it — being publicly observable does not by itself put it outside those rules. We prefer to say so plainly rather than assume otherwise.

Once we deliver files to a customer, that customer decides how they are used and takes on responsibility for handling them lawfully. Our Terms of Service require exactly that, and prohibit redistributing the raw files.

10. Security

We keep personal data secure and limit access to those who need it — staff, agents and contractors who are bound to keep it confidential. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it.

11. Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes are posted here and apply from the date shown at the top; they are not applied retrospectively.
